WALL ART & INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS

Do artists receive royalties or compensation for the reproduction of their work on these products?  Yes.  Each product represents the original artwork and has been approved by the artist or the estate before production.  The art is reproduced in collaboration with the artist and royalties are paid to the artist for each item sold. The artist's have contracts with the manufacturer and distributor and I am not privy to the details of those agreements so please do not ask me how much they receive. Really, that's none of my business. 

I love  your Indigenous products but do not want to be disrespectful. I am concerned about cultural appropriation. The products sold here are for everyone! The artists want to make authentic Indigenous design accessible to all. 

 Your items are designed in Canada. Are they made in Canada, too? For the most part, yes. As I write this 100% of our products are Canadian Made and you will notice a Made in Canada symbol on most product pages.

But, it is possible I could feel compelled to buy something so incredibly fabulous that I cannot resist it, even though it is made off shore. If that happens, it will state IMPORTED on the product description. 

 

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

What's the scoop on shipping costs?  Shipping your order is free, unless you want to insure and track your delivery. The cost for insurance and tracking is 8 USD.  The cost to return an item to us is born by the purchaser (more in the return policy info below).

How long does delivery take?  We usually mail your item(s) within a day or two. However, as we go into our busy season (July to December) sometimes inventory is enroute to us, so it may be a week to ten days before we put your order in the mail. This is not common, but it does happen. If you require  your order by a specific date, please get in touch so we can let you know how soon it will ship.

Once your parcel has gone to the Post Office, we have no control over how long it takes to get to you. But, based on our experience, within North America,  parcels arrive within a week to ten days (allow a bit more time if you live quite rural). If you selected Tracked Parcel when you placed your order, you can track it on the Canada Post website. 

There are a lot of variables that determine how long it takes for an item to get to you.  If you live in a major centre, you'll get it faster than if you live rural. If it is November or December, Canada Post is going to be super busy and you should expect delays. 

What's your return policy?  You can return anything for any reason within 15 days of receiving it, as long as it hasn't been used or damaged and it is still in the original packaging. In other words, it has to be in re-saleable condition. Full disclosure, the cost to return an item is on you, the purchaser. Once we receive your item back, we will refund you for that item. Shipping charges are not refundable.
